Our clinical nurse special, Natasha Rankin, wirtes:
“Having not been blessed in the eyelash department i have spent many years trying various products to obtain thicker and longer lashes, from over the counter serums that promise the world and deliver far less, to fiddly and natural lash extensions. Finally i decided to give Lumigan a go to see what all the hype was about.
Lumigan (commonly known as Latisse in other countries) came about as a “side effect” from eye drops for raised intra-ocular pressure: people using the eye drops noticed their eyelashes becoming longer, thicker and in some cases darker.
And my verdict after 3 months is…
Well after just weeks of using it every night i noticed the odd one or two longer lashes, but after around 6 weeks i thought my lashes had never looked better! They were (and still are) longer and thicker, and look great with or without mascaraand i am extremely pleased with the results. I have found it relatively easy and quick to use.
The only downside i can find is that you do need to keep using it. Once you have achieved your desired results, you need to use it about twice a week to maintain the result or they will revery to their original state. However, at £75 a bottle whicyh last about 2-3 months on the average, the trauma on the bank account is relatively minor.
Below are images of Kelly, a colleague who had been suitably impressed by my results.”
