Dermal filler treatments use a liquid hyalouronic acid solution which is injected under the skin. Our skilled practitioners can administer dermal filler injections to enhance your facial features, reduce lines and wrinkles, and sculpt the face. Our highly experienced team in Birmingham will ensure you receive the result you desire, whilst maintaining a natural and beautiful look. Dermal fillers can be used for the following areas:
There are a variety of dermal fillers available on the market. At Kat & Co Aesthetics we use fillers made from hyaluronic acid (HA) because of its hypoallergenic property. Hyaluronic acid exists naturally in the body and is an important component of the skin and serves important functions in creating volume in the tissue and maintaining water balance. HA fillers are also safer as they are reversible.
We only use market-leading established brands of dermal fillers with the highest quality and best safety profile: Beletero by Merz aesthetics and Teosyal by Teoxane for tear trough fillers.
A range of HA fillers are available for different treatment areas. Within each filler range there are specific products for fine lines, deeper facial lines, the lips and general improvement of skin tone and firmness.

All of our fillers treatments are carried out by highly trained, highly experienced aesthetic doctors or nurses. All practioners are GMC registered and we are regulated by the CQC (Care Quality Commission) to ensure best practices and safety. Kat & Co is a day-case plastic surgery clinic with a full-time staff of consultants and nurses to take care of you.
Dermal fillers are much less invasive than alternative surgical facial rejuvenation procedures such as face lifts or implants. They require no incisions or stitches and so recovery is much quicker. Typically, dermal filler treatments will only involve some light pain and discomfort, but are very quick to perform (between 20 and 30 minutes). We also offer local anaesthetic for anxious patients.
The results of dermal fillers are immediate after treatment and can last for up to 12 months, or 6 months for lip fillers. We only use the highest quality products - Beletero or Teosyal.
No. At Kat & Co we always aim for a natural and subtle result, enhancing your existing features, rather than creating an unnatural look. Our practioners are all highly skilled and experienced in creating a beautiful, natural look.
Your practitioner will review your results to ensure you are happy, and answer any questions you may have. You may experience some bruising or swelling. Swelling normally reduces within 48 hours and bruising within 14 days.
Dermal fillers can be used for a variety of purposes. They are popular to add fullness and volume to the lips, cheeks and nose; to smooth lines and wrinkles around the forehead, eyes, neck, chin, mouth, chest and hands.
