In a year that was challenging for many sectors, it has been announced that cosmetic surgery saw a small increase in procedures performed during 2018.

These figures, released in the BAAPS Annual Audit on 20th May shows that the sector remained buoyant with over 28,000 cosmetic surgical procedures performed in the UK alone.

Based at the Royal College of Surgeons, the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) mission is to make aesthetic plastic surgery progressively patient-centric, regulated and fair; removing stigma and increasing the benefits to society.

Consultant Plastic Surgeon CC Kat said “Kat & Co Aesthetics has seen a steady increase in the number of procedures we perform and we are encouraged that the statistics are favourable for the UK as a whole in this audit.
