“Further to the breast reduction operation carried out by yourself in October 2007, I am writing to express my gratitude to you and to your team for the wonderful work you do and for giving me a chance of a ‘normal’ life. The effect on my physical and mental health has been remarkable. This is something that not only has benefits for myself, but for the rest of my family. I feel that I now have a second chance at life and I will make the most of every opportunity that presents itself, without worrying about people staring at me and without having the physical back and breast pain that I have endured for all of my adult life.
