30 is the new 50, 40 is the new 70 etc….

Aesthetic medicine used to be a rarity in people’s lives.

Back in the day, those who could afford it got facelifts at a crucial moment in life – usually in their late 50s, when jowls, turkey wattle and lax facial skin threatened to limit their social lives.

It was an ordeal back then, but the trade-off was worth it. Matrons (that’s what they used to call women over 50!) avoided looking matronly for another decade or so.

Aesthetic medicine has changed. It’s become a maintenance thing. The availability of low impact treatments plus raising the bar on rejuvenation have changed the paradigm. 30 is the new 50, 40 is the new 70 etc.

Today Everything’s Different

Nowadays new attitudes and new technology have helped to change the paradigm. A more comprehensive (and much less traumatic) profile has emerged. The new cosmetic medicine is nothing less than a life-long system of self-preservation.

A sea-change has taken place in facial surgery. It’s now a 3-dimensional undertaking that restores volume and truly youthful contours instead of just fighting gravity.

Injectables and low-impact surgical techniques have prompted a maintenance approach to facial restoration, postponing the visible effects of aging longer.

Advances in skin care, especially skin remodeling with lasers, have revolutionized the possibilities for retaining a youthful, pliant complexion at every age.

Changing cultural mores now make minor “tweaks” and adjustments to one’s appearance more acceptable. Instead of big changes, the new norm is to be “magically” restored at well-spaced intervals throughout life.

Lifelong Maintenance

Cosmetic medicine is now analogous to dentistry, where prevention is as important as intervention. As with dental health, taking gradual steps at predictable moments throughout life can ensure optimum health and beauty.

Just as you rely on your dentist to ensure the upkeep of your smile, you should be thinking of us as your long-term partners in anti-aging and beauty.

We Track Your Progress

Your dentist studies your dental records whenever you visit, using them to guide the day’s work. We’re applying the same principle to our record-keeping, starting a medical history for you as soon as you come in for any type of procedure. We use it to guide a range of important decisions.

We analyze your skin type, helping you find the best skincare regimen. Once we’ve done that, we’ve got a biological foundation for guiding your skincare needs as you move through various life cycles.

We can calibrate the strength of peels, laser remodeling and other high-impact skin treatments to fit what you can tolerate and what you truly need.

When I personally know your facial contours from an early age, it makes re-creating those contours in middle age with fillers and fat transfers easy for me. Your results will be more satisfying than if you visited a stranger.

If you’ve had early surgery with us (nose surgery, for example) we now know how your body responds to painkillers, anesthetics, anti-bruising medications, anti-inflammatory medications, etc. We’re ahead of the game should you opt for surgical solutions down the road.

In these and other ways, we safeguard your experience with anti-aging medicine. This substantially reduces your risk of becoming one of those “train wreck” patients you see in the media, the unfortunate victims of incompetent providers.

You Need Someone You Can Rely On

This field is changing so swiftly, with innovations hitting the market at hyper-speed, that consumers are challenged. They simply can’t navigate all the new information alone. That’s why you need someone you can trust to filter out the scams.

You can rest assured we’ll always bring you the best of what’s new and exciting out there, minus the fly-by-night treatments that are just aimed at your wallet. In the meantime, we’ll hold on to proven treatments that really work.

Our goal

We want our patients to get the most satisfying, superb results possible at this exciting moment in cosmetic medical science. We want to help you achieve that
