Mr Mylvaganam is an NHS Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon with specialist expertise in the management of breast conditions, breast cancer, breast reconstruction and cosmetic breast surgery. He is the Clinical Lead for breast services at Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS Trust.
Mr Mylvaganam trained at Royal Free & University College London and then undertook further postgraduate training in London and the West Midlands. He has undertaken specialist training in breast cancer, reconstructive and cosmetic breast surgery including the prestigious National Oncoplastic Breast Fellowship regarded as the gold standard for breast reconstructive and cosmetic breast training in the UK. This fellowship is restricted by competition to a select few breast and plastic surgeons each year.
Seni is passionate about continuing to improve personal and UK practice in breast surgery through scientific analysis and endeavour. To that end he is a steering member of a number of research groups and has over 60 medical publications to his name. He has authored national guidance on various practices in breast surgery and is a member of the UK Association of Breast Surgery Clinical Practice and Standards Committee. This group looks to set the best practice standards for breast surgery in the UK.
