Miss Maria Chasapi is a fully accredited UK trained Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon. Following the completion of her training within the North West Deanery she was awarded the FRCS (Plast) and entered the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery. Her NHS practice is based at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.
She has completed a number of prestigious fellowships in breast reconstruction, microsurgery and aesthetic surgery at University of British Columbia, in Vancouver, Canada, St. Thomas and Guys Hospital in London and University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada. She has also undertaken dedicated aesthetic training in private hospitals in Manchester, Liverpool and Cheshire and completed a BAAPS aesthetic fellowship in London and Birmingham where she worked with leaders in the field of cosmetic surgery.
In 2023 she was awarded the esteemed Cutler’s surgical fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England which allowed her to pursue further specialist training in Japan and South Korea.
Throughout her career, Maria has developed a special interest in breast and facial reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, working with world renowned plastic surgeons to refine her skills so as to deliver the best possible care for her patients.
At Kat & Co, she intends to pursue her interests in breast aesthetic surgery, body contouring and facial aesthetics.
Maria has published several articles in peer-reviewed plastic surgery journals and presented nationally and internationally.
