INITIA Diode Laser treatments are far more comfortable than traditional laser treatments. This is because the device uses its trademarked sub-zero integrated IceTip™ technology, to cool the treated areas. During treatment, this technology can reach temperatures of -8°C for extra comfortable treatments. Meaning the skin is cooled during treatment as opposed to hot and irritated, providing optimum comfort.

What does laser treatment feel like?

With standard laser hair removal treatments, you can sometimes feel a ‘hot flick’ of an elastic band feeling during treatment. However, with the virtually pain-free Initia treatment, you will feel little to no sensation at all. The built-in IceTip™ technology when in MOTION mode allows for even more comfort for clients especially when treating an area with lots of dense and dark hair. 

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions required varies from client to client depending on many factors. However, as a guideline, we recommend you complete a course of at least six sessions per area treated. We will give a full consultation before we begin your treatment sessions.

How does laser hair removal work?

Light is emitted and absorbed by melanin within the hair and is converted to heat energy damaging the hair follicle.
