We introduced our Twilight Anaesthesia service to Kat & Co in February 2020 and we haven’t looked back!

This new service has opened a new chapter for Kat & Co. It allows us to carry out a wider range of surgery as day cases at our Calthorpe Road Clinic in Birmingham.

Twilight Anaesthesia (also known as conscious sedation) is a form of anaesthesia that can be controlled so that you are asleep but still able to breath by yourself. This means there is no need for a ventilator as with a General Anaesthetic.

The positive response from patients have been overwhelming. ‘Brilliant’, ‘highly recommend’, ‘don’t remember a thing’, ‘ feels like waking up from a good sleep’. ‘I was in at 8 am and home by 1pm and felt wonderful’      

Twilight Anaesthesia at Kat & Co was initiated by CC Kat, our innovative, forward-thinking Consultant Plastic Surgeon and Medical Director. Mrs Kat spent 2 weeks in America at a prestigious Beverly Hills clinic and saw the potential in introducing this technique to the Kat & Co Aesthetics.

This  approach to constantly pushing the frontiers of modern medicine has been pivotal to the ongoing success of Kat & Co. Particularly during the pandemic when we have had to adapt to new ways of doing things… the ‘new norm’.
