Goodbye 2015!

Goodbye 2015!

Another year has gone by and its time to take stock of the changes we have seen as a clinic. Our staff group has expanded and I am not referring to the team member who is expecting her first child (I made the mistake of complimenting her and wished that she could be cloned, not thinking that she  would  take things quite so literally). In addition to having Sarah as our new Receptionist, Catherine has joined us as our second skin therapist.

Skin Health is an important part of our practice because rejuvenation and beautification is incomplete without a focus on good complexion. As such, we are really gratified to see an overall increase in the sales of our skincare and suncare products. Alongside that, new patients have joined us for skin treatments like the Hydrafacial and our skin therapists have seen their efforts taking effects as our patients become more knowledgable and conversant with skincare.

As for the new year 2016 –

We will continue to (carefully) evolve and broaden the range of treatments we offer. New protocols will be introduced e.g. programming chemical peels with facial treatments and new bespoke versions of the ever popular Hydrafacial. We are considering adopting a range of mesotherapy treatments (a very popular and established mode of treatment in the Continent) and hope to have our own in-house permanent makeup artist before the end of 2016.

In response to calls to shorten the waiting time for surgery under local anasthetia at our day surgery facillity, I will be making some adjustments to my timetable to create more operating slots for treatments like the 2 stitch Mini Facelift and Vaser Liposuction.

We aim to continue to improve our practice so that we can provide a better service to our patients. Much of how we evolve is guided by feedback from our patients. Do get in touch if you have any suggestions and ideas. And remember to have your loyalty card stamped the next time you come in for your facial treatment.

Other items that you can look forward to in the new year include :

  • state-of-the-art 3D image simulation for breast augmentation
  • new responsive website that will facilitate viewing on hand held devices like your phone and tablets
  • new mini brochure
  • impoved presence on Realself, the ‘tripadvisor’ for the aesthetics industry
  • Kybella, a new treatment designed to dissolve fat beneath the chin(double chin). It is FDA approved in the USA and should soon be available in the UK.
  • a non-invasive body contouring and skin tightening device
  • Touch MD, a secure patient portal that will allow patients to access their procedure details, before and after photos, informed consents etc on-line with a dedicated password

Wishing you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, from all the team at CC Kat Aesthetics.
