Environ Brightening Facial (cleansing & maintenance)

The Environ Skin Brightening facial involves a cleanse and tone, followed by a 10 minute lactic acid peel using a galvanic current.  Using the current in this way softens the skin and gives a deep clean by saponification of the sebum in the pores, the by-products of which are excreted by the skin naturally.  The current is applied by using a gauze mask and a neck and shoulder massage is administered during this time.  This stage is followed by any extractions, if need be.

Following this, a layer of vitamin A treatment gel is applied to the face, neck and eye area, and either the gauze mask is reapplied or an alginate mask, depending on an individual’s needs.  The current is reapplied on the opposite polarity (iontophoresis), which forces the ionised vitamin A past the skin’s barrier into the deeper layers of the epidermis where it does its work.  Either a neck and shoulder or hand/arm massage will be done at this point and when the mask is removed the facial is completed with a face massage.

The benefits of this facial will be in deep cleansing and hydrating the skin, resulting in a glowing complexion. It complements the Ionzyme Facial as a maintainence and also post facial surgery to deep clean and to remove dead skin cells accummulated post surgery.
