There are a variety of dermal fillers available in the market. At CC Kat Aesthetics we use fillers made from hyaluronic acid (HA) because of its hypo-allergenic property. Hyaluronic acid exists naturally in the body and is an important component of the skin and serve important functions in creating volume in the tissue and maintaining water balance.

Dermal fillers are used for the treatment of facial lines and enhancing facial contours and shape of the lips. HA fillers also improve the firmness and hydration of the skin due to the water-loving property of the hyaluronic acid molecule.

A range of HA fillers are available for the different treatment needs. For example, within the Restylane range, there are specific products for fine lines, deeper facial lines, the lips and general improvement of skin tone and firmness.

We pay special attention to pain control to ensure that the procedures are comfortable and non-traumatic. Topical and local anaesthetics are used when needed to keep discomfort to the minimum.

Typically, patients are reviewed two weeks after the treatment and the results are discussed.

The cost for this treatment ranges from £375 – £600 per syringe depending on the practitioner and the area treated.
