What are dermal fillers?

Procedure Before/After Fees Our TeamTestimonials Frequently Asked Questions

Dermal filler treatments use a liquid hyalouronic acid solution which is injected under the skin. Our skilled practitioners can administer dermal filler injections to enhance your facial features, reduce lines and wrinkles, and sculpt the face. Our highly experienced team in Birmingham will ensure you receive the result you desire, whilst maintaining a natural and beautiful look. Dermal fillers can be used for the following areas:

  • To enhance facial contours: cheeks, jawline, temples, nose, chin.
  • To define, correct or enhance the lips
  • To reduce facial lines or wrinkles
  • To improve the appearance of the under eyes area (tear troughs)
  • To improve the quality, texture and hydration of the skin

What dermal fillers do we use?

There are a variety of dermal fillers available on the market. At Kat & Co Aesthetics we use fillers made from hyaluronic acid (HA) because of its hypoallergenic property. Hyaluronic acid exists naturally in the body and is an important component of the skin and serves important functions in creating volume in the tissue and maintaining water balance. HA fillers are also safer as they are reversible.

We only use market-leading established brands of dermal fillers with the highest quality and best safety profile: Beletero by Merz aesthetics and Teosyal by Teoxane for tear trough fillers.

A range of HA fillers are available for different treatment areas. Within each filler range there are specific products for fine lines, deeper facial lines, the lips and general improvement of skin tone and firmness.
